I used to think that spending money for something intangible like vacation or travel for the sake of experience is just a waste. Sekarang pandanganku mulai berubah. Lihat orang tua dan sudah menua dan sakit-sakitan, membuatku berpikir, hidup itu singkat ya. Nikmatin, jangan pelit sama diri sendiri. Ga perlu terlalu banyak nyimpen asset. Spend some, enjoy some. Anak-anak nanti ada rejekinya sendiri. Nikmatin selama badan masih sehat, jalan masih enak. Karena kalau cari waktu yang tepat, ga akan pernah ketemu waktu yang tepat itu.

Today is my 45th birthday. Quite a long time since I last visiting this blog. Five months ago I suppose. When I reflect, something I realizing about my self. Most of the time, I always keep everything simple and back to basic. Here are the examples.

I never put on any make up at all when going out, and I feel confident about it. Ketika menulis, aku membiarkannya polos, tak menghiasi tulisanku dengan hiasan atau gambar sama sekali. Ketika makan bakso, aku membiarkannya bening tanpa tambahan. Of course always there’s a downside in this. Less sensitive, indecisive because so many things feel indifferent to me. Ga mau repot, enggan going extra miles for something that is less important or is not my passion. Positifnya, aku ga menuntut banyak juga. Bare minimum will do for me.

Hmm… apalagi ya? 🤔
